Commercial Description:
Sweet, caramel aroma. Clean, crisp taste, and an almost dry aftertaste. Interesting and complex. Very flavorful with strong malt presence.

Green glass bottle Dec. 13th 2003. Slight skunk aroma. Slight caramel aroma. Dark amber beige head. Sweet slight bitter caramel nothing special a beer of slightness not excitement.

Dark red with a corn-starch aroma. Skunk of an old import. Sharp bite. A light-bodied beer but apparent of a high alcohol character (although it isn't).

This was very good. It poured a medium brown color with an off-white head. The taste was malty with nots of caramel in the flavor. Finish was dry and I would recommend this beer as it is a nice change to so many hoppy holiday beers.

Dark dirty brown color with a minimal head. Malty, nutty aroma. Not as sweet as I expected. Full-bodied in its flavor. A fairly dry-roasted aftertaste. I believe the GREEN bottle sat for awhile on the shelve. Don't know if this helped it any or not. It was still a pleasing beer.

Pours a ruddy yellow-orange, with some nice white head. Effervescent and moderately clear, has a light fruit aroma, apples, pears, brown sugar and malt. Wonderful clear and crisp flavor. Dosent water down, improves as it warms and has a nice soft malt flavor with lots of grains. Mildly spiced, no alcohol present. Probably one of the best light beers I've had. Subtle, well balanced, no earth shattering flavors, but hey it's a low gravity, low abv vienna.

Deep amber color, medium-high carbonation, and a heavy lacing beige head. Rich and sweet caramel malt and prominent diacetyl. Rather tasty. Initial smooth and velvety palate does become a little chalky after awhile. Seems like a fine example of the Vienna style overall. For a lager, this beer kicks aass.

33 cL bottle, goblet. Very large, frothy, creamy, off-white head is well lasting and sits on a deep brown body with crimson edges that's opaque in the middle. A great looker. Nutty, cookie, baker's cocoa malt (heavy); herbish hops (light); plum, raisin, merlot, oak, toffee, vanilla, brown sugar. Somehow it's not quite as good as I just made it sound. Taste comes across as a watered down tawny port. Heavily sweet throughout with a light acidity in the finish. Medium-heavy body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. The bottom line is: there's a strange sweetness to this one...hey is that gnome looking at me funny?
