(Bottle, Lorry, Oslo, 5 Nov 2009. 4.7%) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toasty malt, red berries and hints of spicy hops. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red berries, dark fruit and slightly spicy hops in the finish. Some initial malt sweetness, dries out towards the end. Fairly thin but rather tasty.

Dec 19, 2009 Bottles. Actually, several. Pours dark reddish brown with a finger of light tan head that fades fast. Some lace. Aroma is sweet, caramel and roasted notes, some burnt sugar. A metallic bitterness saves it from being overly sweet. Body is quite light, a bit too thin. Carbonation a bit too sparkly. Otherwise, its not bad. Tasty, but plain.

Nov 29, 2009 Bottled @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours light brown with a big white head. Sweet caramel aroma, taste is the same, mild,smooth and a distinct bitter finish, not bad.

Feb 19, 2009 In Oslo over the holidays. Ruby red body with medium head. Sweet and malty nose. Taste is also malty, with coffee, caramel and bitter notes. Short aftertaste. Warming.
