Clear medium to dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark berry, brown sugar, moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20081230]

Oct 11, 2009 Clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour was quite strong and had roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and chocolate. Somewhat boozy but nice.

Jan 11, 2009 Bottle at Chris o New Year tasting 08/09. Deep chestnut, thin beige head. Bit of paint/bubblegum, spices. Not sure why I like it, but I do. Malty aroma. Love the mouthfeel. It’s spicy and rather good.

Apr 3, 2009 Courtesy of Yngwie. It has a very beautiful, deep red mahogany red color and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, nuts and caramel. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and the alcohol is spicy and warming. It is surprisingly nice.
