Dry-sweet papery taste with malty apple notes. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry peppery metallic aftertaste. Decent, but uninspired. Probably the best of the Norwegian lite beers. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 3, 2008 500 ml can. Mostly diminishing coarse white head. Lively bright golden body. Clean, lightly sweet grain aroma. A noticable whiff of acidulous, rather artificial citrus, and some dusty hops. Taste is light to medium sweet grains, some lemony notes and i minium of bittering hops. Quite crisp, but feels thin in the mouth. Body mass index says anoerctic. Easy to drink, hard to appreciate. yngwie (5071), Kristiansand, Norway
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Can. It pours a clear, golden body with a fingerthick white head and some carbonation. Grainy nose with some hops. Balanced and weak. It’s quite thin in the body, almost watery, with sweet, grainy and lightly fruity flavors in the finish. Not much bitterness. The initial flavor is sweet malty and grainy, with some faint notes of caramel. Drinkability isn’t bad, at least not if you’re a lover of pale lagers. To sum it up: It’s not off, but it’s dead boring, is very low on flavor and aroma, and has a thin body to go with it. Stay away, and get slimmer in other ways. Golden beer, lively carbonation.
Grainy aroma.
Light, thin and watery. There are both hops and malt in there, but in small quantities. Not bad for the style, actually. yespr (12426), Copenhagen O, Denmark
