Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 22, 2009 500 ml can. Golden body with a decent white head. Aroma is mild malty/grain and that it. Flavor is plain, weak malty with some kind of fruitiness. Not offending by any other way than it’s just another mainstream pilsner without any goal except for making a new box design. Quite aggressive CO2 level and no aftertaste. Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Jun 29, 2009 500 ml can. Golden and crystal clear. Small white fine-laced head. Surprisingly little aroma. A little cloying malt and a dull hop aroms. Relatively little carbonation level. Soft and oily malty texture. Not much hops and little hop bitterness. Overall a rather pointless and dull beer. Don’t. Rune (2757), Tromsø, Norway Jun 14, 2009 500ml can from Centra Colosseum, Oslo. Shared with Eva while eating Thai-food for dinner. Clear golden. Rapidly collapsing white head. Mild pale malty to the nose. Grainy flavour mixed with a light touch of lemon. The aftertaste remains light and quite dry. Thin in the mouth. Soft carbonated with lager smoothness on the swallow. A neutral partner to the food (Tromsø, 13.06.2009). gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 13, 2009 Can . Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, grain. Flavour is fruit, malt, grain, hop. Medium to thin body. Boring beer. gunnar (489), Sandnes, Norway Jun 1, 2009 50Cl can. Pours clear golden, a tad darker than the average Norwegian lager, with a moderate frothy white head. Weak aroma ,fruity. Taste is almost the same, no offence seems to be the slogan here.
larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Apr 18, 2009 Big offwhite lasting head. Yellow body. Light fruity aroma with faint alcohol notes. Very weak and neutral, but not offensive. Sweetish papery empty fruity taste with grassy notes. Clean palate. Light body. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Faintly dryish empty grass and straw aftertaste. Very bland, but somehow also kind of fresh and drinkable. Could be a lot worse. (0.5l can, Centra, Oslo.) tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Apr 6, 2009 50 cl can at home, thanks yngwie. Clear golden color, fine white head. Aroma is grainy and kind of sweet. Flavor has some fruity and malty sweetness. Not much bitterness. Fine carbonation. Thin, but not the worst pale lager in Norway. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 27, 2009 Can. A crystal clear, slighlty pale golden beer with a finger-thick white head leaving lacings. Grainy, sweetish nose with a fruity touch. Not bad, just meaningless bland, boring and uninteresting. The flavor isn’t much better, but with a more distinct fruityness. Pears and peaches I think. Quite thin body with a good co2 saturation. Short finish with decent bitterness. The beer seems quite meaningless, but I guess they aim at the youth, and other people, who don’t really like beer. Or at least not flavors. (090327)
