This is one great pilsner beer. Clear golden color. Nice malty presence along with those Saaz and Hallertau hops in the nose make this one outstanding beer. There’s enough bodied for this beer to be enjoyable but it’s light enough to be extremely drinkable especially on these hot summer days.

Decent pilsener. Not that great not that bad. A little metallic in the body of the taste. Good aftertaste with not too much bitters. A good all around pilsener. Not too unique.

Aass pulls off a rather dry, crisp Saazy pils that nevertheless is somewhat unsatisfying. Czechvar does the pils better, I think. Good color and head, rather fizzy. Not really very sweet as some say.

what a let down this beer is not what it used to be in the early 90’s it seems watered down and lackink the complexity it once had though the brewery would claim nothing has changed

Very mild hoppy aroma--almost imperceptible, really...Color a white-gold color with frothy head--helped along a bit by healthy carbonation. Hops are nice--prominent but restrained. Malty sweetness tasted but body is a bit thin. With the light body, carbonation a little heavy for balance...still, a refreshing offering.
