Suttree (2283), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jan 26, 2003 Pilsner in a green bottle, so I was prepared for it to be skunky. Thankfully, it wasn't. Smelled like fresh mowed hay, looked like, well, pee after you take a B vitamin complex. It had a crisp character, subtle hop flavor, and a clean finish. No aftertaste. Not bad, the flavors that were there were good, I'd just like to have more of 'em.
Rune_Stumo (74), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 22, 2008 22.08.2008, 0,5l Can. Pale yellow colour. Aroma is weak and the texture is thin. The beer is lively carbonated with a white lasting head. Some bitternes in the aftertaste. NosirIwont (864), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 10, 2008 Bottle. 4.7%. Pours straw yellow with a diminishing white head. Small lacing. Sweetish, slightly hoppy cereal aroma. Flavour is sweet. Hops and cereals. Lingering, mild hop bitterness. A decent industrial lager. 11-07-08. Gr0ve (1088), Oslo, Norway Mar 11, 2008 500 ml can. Golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall white fine-laced head. Citrusy and floral hop aroma. Crisp hop flavours and a delicious light malty flavour upfront. Refreshing carbonation balances the hop bitterness. Light-bodied. Perfectly balanced. Definitely one of the best Norwegian pilseners. charlotte (1177), Vanløse, Denmark Feb 19, 2008 Straw yellow with white fluffy head.Aroma of corn and hopsfeels mild and also thin and watery. RSRIZZO (991), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Dec 2, 2007 Had this beer on 6/1/2000. Aroma is very skunky. Carbonation is very good with a thin head. Color is a pale yellow. Taste is light, crisp and slightly sweet. Starting with a light medium body it goes down with a nice malt sweetness. The finish is a refreshingly light sweet malt flavor back by a very mild hop bitterness. This may be one of the best pilsner I’ve had.
