Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Feb 25, 2002 Clear gold in color, large frothy white head, nice lace, nose is mild malt. Start is malt, the middle thin, the carbonation light, the hops light, slightly dry. As I’m biased against pilsners and some lagers, I try and find the good points rather than the weaknesses. Good point, I like it better than water, beyond that a typical weak in general pils!
estpiwo (264), Estonia Nov 20, 2008 Canned. Pale yellow color, Aroma is grassy with some hoppy tones. Flavor is malty, only some hoppy notes. Pilsner? TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Oct 4, 2008 (Can, BB 01/2009, alc. 4.7%).
"Original pilsner". Pale yellow color, decent white head. Grassy hoppy raw apple aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Saaz-hoppy flavor with harsh papery maltyness and thin body. At least this is hoppy enough for being called "pilsener". oh6gdx (6459), Vaasa, Finland Oct 4, 2008 Canned (ABV 4.7%, thanks yngwie). Golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head, some slight lace. Aroma is melted rubber/plastic along with some hops and malts. Flavour is harsh rubbery grass along with some mild unpleasant earthy notes. Harsh. RuneStumo (158), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 22, 2008 22.08.2008, 0,5l Can. Pale yellow colour. Aroma is weak and the texture is thin. The beer is lively carbonated with a white lasting head.
