thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 25, 2004 This bottled brew poured a very small head of fine to large sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was a carbonated hazy brownish yellow. The aroma was slightly barnyard with malty and brown beer notes. The mouth feel was smooth with a slight strange hop bite that lingered in the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops grass and was slightly off and undesirable. Hmmm another green bottle. Ya figure?

"Original pilsner". Pale yellow color, decent white head. Grassy hoppy raw apple aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Saaz-hoppy flavor with harsh papery maltyness and thin body. At least this is hoppy enough for being called "pilsener". oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Oct 4, 2008 Canned (ABV 4.7%, thanks yngwie). Golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head, some slight lace. Aroma is melted rubber/plastic along with some hops and malts. Flavour is harsh rubbery grass along with some mild unpleasant earthy notes. Harsh. Rune_Stumo (103), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 22, 2008 22.08.2008, 0,5l Can. Pale yellow colour. Aroma is weak and the texture is thin. The beer is lively carbonated with a white lasting head. Some bitternes in the aftertaste. NosirIwont (876), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 10, 2008 Bottle. 4.7%. Pours straw yellow with a diminishing white head. Small lacing. Sweetish, slightly hoppy cereal aroma. Flavour is sweet. Hops and cereals. Lingering, mild hop bitterness. A decent industrial lager. 11-07-08. Gr0ve (1113), Oslo, Norway Mar 11, 2008 500 ml can. Golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall white fine-laced head. Citrusy and floral hop aroma. Crisp hop flavours and a delicious light malty flavour upfront. Refreshing carbonation balances the hop bitterness. Light-bodied. Perfectly balanced. Definitely one of the best Norwegian pilseners.
