25/11-2006 Can: Light light golden colour, with a nice dcreamy foam. Aroma of hoops and dry yeast and malt. Bitter hoops in the start, then it\s was gone(?) Light body, short malt/bitter finsish. Sorry but this was a werry disepoiting summer beer from Aass.

Can. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour is the same. Dry fruity malt. Thin.

Can. Pale golden beer with a decent white head, leaving some lacings. Malt, hay and cooked vegetables in the aroma. The flavor has malt, grass and some hops, but the hops hide themselves very well until the finish. Thin body. Yet another wasted Sommerĝl. (060623)

Watery, dull, totally uninteresting. I am surprised that Aass choose to market a beer of this quality!

Biggish creamy white head over pale yellow body. Acidic, refreshing aroma with fruity notes and some grain. Taste is apple-like with some light malts. Aftertaste is very light bitterness with some straw. Not at all bad; in fact, probably the best Norwegian "summer beer". A decent light lager. (0.5l can.)

Canned. Golden colour, rich head. Very sweet, lightly malty and bready. Saccharine-like finish. Aass usually pleasant malt character is replaced by a hefty dose of saccharine...

WTF happened here? I swear I rated this beer weeks ago, but now it's gone! Well, all Norwegian "summer beers" (very light golden and bland pilsener varieties) are the work of the devil. Aass' version is one of the least miserable, but still bad. That is, it doesn't taste awful - it just doesn't taste much at all.

A short and blend one for the summer.
