Mostly reminiscent of rotten tomato juice and malt. Not sure what’s going on here. TURDFERGUSON (1609), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Dark brown pour, fairly weak looking with a thin body whose relative lack of abundance is a bad sign. Sure enough,I found the beer a bit too weak and thin for my taste. Rather than the sweet play of malts, fruits, and mild hops I want in a dubbel, this one’s got the flavor of ripe bananas on the downsid. Average, unspectacular.
