Bottled. Very dark brownish amber colour with mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is caramel malts and some candy with some toffee. Flavour is quite caramellish sweet malts with some sweet fruity/nectary notes along with it. Also spices and quite sugary. Alcohol adds a bit to the sweetness, though is not disturbing either in aroma or flavour. Aftertaste is caramel, sugar and some hints of nuts. Nice and balanced dubbel.

Deep dark brown in color with a nice off white fluffy head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Molasses caramel malty aroma. Hoppy and caramel malty flavor. Nutty notes. Medium bodied. Ok . Drinkable.

Big bubbled tan head on a brown body. Aroma is cola and mellow molasses. Tons of lacing throughout. Flavor has some nuttiness to it and there’s also some toffee. Easy drinking stuff here.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown almost burgundy color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and fruity yeast ester is quite interesting. Taste is a mix between some candi sugar, substantial Belgian malt backbone and fruity yeast ester. Body is a bit thin with some good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering but well done for the style.

Bottled. Clear redbrown color, thick rocky off-white head. Aroma is malty, quite fruity of some prune and cherry pits, slight spicy. Slight sweet taste, slight sirupy, fruity again. Bit dry palate. Thin double, with quite some fruitiness, though not sticky sweet.

The aroma has caramel, brown sugar, yeast, and toasted malt. The flavor is like the aroma with raisins. The appearance is like a foamy cola. The palate is smooth but not thin. Overall it’s pretty good.

Pours cloudy brown with a medium head of large bubbles that dissipates quickly. Aroma has a metallic quality with sweet dark fruits also present. Mouth feel is medium with less carbonation that the initial pour would suggest. Flavor is malty with some caramel and funk present. Not bad, but it reminds me of one of my early home brews.
