0.33 l bottle. Mahagony color with diminishing head. Sweetish, raisiny, chocolatey and alcoholy aroma. Raisins, licorice, nuts, toffee, cola and tart fruitiness in the flavor. Some dull spiciness and yeastiness in the background.

This didn’t taste good to me at all. Very soft malty with a strange taste. Couldn’t drink it. That doesn’t happen very often.

The brune had a bit to much cola flavor for me. Light fruitiness of plum and mild caramel notes were taken over by a big cola and spice finish. This beer started nice but didn’t agree with me towards the end.

Courtesy of Degarth. Thanks, Joe. Pours a dark brown body with a nice sized beige head. On the nose we have dark fruits, pears, figs, plums and too much alcohol warmth for a 6% dubbel. Flavor is much more muted than the aroma, but I do get more dark fruits and some yeasty elements as well. Palate is thin, mouthfeel is somewhat off as well. Finishes pretty bland. A disappointment.

Dark brown colour, generous beige head. Aroma is of sweet malt, some caramel and fruits. Flavour is of raisins, some caramel. Could use more carbonation to give it a tangy edge.

This dark brown ale poured with a frothy beige head and a musty aroma. There is a full caramel malt flavor with a strange bitter and metallic finish.

Dark brownish coloured with almost no carbonationa dn a small off-white head. Full malty-yeasty sweet aroma. Full pallet, light sweet and little roasted taste. Finish is bitter, little alcoholic with some roasted touches. Medium ending.
