| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2008 Bottled. Very dark brownish amber colour with mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is caramel malts and some candy with some toffee. Flavour is quite caramellish sweet malts with some sweet fruity/nectary notes along with it. Also spices and quite sugary. Alcohol adds a bit to the sweetness, though is not disturbing either in aroma or flavour. Aftertaste is caramel, sugar and some hints of nuts. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 23, 2008 Bright chestnut brown colour. Thin head. The aroma shows brown sugar, a sort of toasted caramel note. Fizzy and fairly thin but with decent caramel and brown sugar notes. Simple though, without fruitiness and with hardly any finish.
