Commercial Description: Traditional Belgian beer, second fermentation in the bottle. Brown ale recipe from the Abbaye D’Aulne brewed by the Val De Sambre company.
slick mouthfeel. tasted more alcohol than was actually present, which was sort of strange. almost a peppery aftertaste. some apple notes (a al knight’s ale) but these flavors took a back seat to the spicy aftertaste.
