Aroma is some vanilla and some butterscotch. Flavor is spicey with some vanilla again and some yeast. Everything your looking for in a Belgian is there to put this in the good category but nothing overpowering to put this in the great category. Was only $5 for a bomber so that is a plus. bhensonb (4380), Woodland, California, USA

Yeasty, bready aroma, supported by light stone fruit notes. Brassy color with a white head that rapidly filmed. Medium bodied. Moderately carbonated. Spicy. Fruit sweetness (in a dry way). The mouth impact is attractive. The finish tends to be dry, near astringent, while hints of sweet linger at the edges. Hard to tell whether there is bitter or spice at the finish. Maybe a little of both. Very nice sipper. The flavors are not strong, but they are very pleasing. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

Hazy golden colour.
Light buttery an sweet aroma. Weak in flavour, one-dimensional with notes of tropical fruits and pronounced malty(?) sweetness. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2007 mostly clear golden yellow color, thin creamy white head. aroma is pale caramel malt, light grass, and candi sugar, some stone fruits too. flavor is watery and grassy for a trippel, with faint malt backbone. some banana and dry grassiness, and a little metallic. bitterness is thin at the finish, but something other than hops. a little on the grainy side. surprisingly well hidden alcohol, but it doesn’t really accomplish anything. tastes more like a mid-grade wit/single.
