Seemed more of a Blonde ale than a tripel. Extremely drinkable & enjoyable but lacks the spiciness & complexity of a true tripel Sammy (4051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottle pours a clear gold, even a bit pale, nice lacy white head. Sweet and grainy aroma without much fruity ester activity. Mildly sweet flavor, light maltiness, mild bitterness, sparkling mouthfeel on lively caronation. Finishes dry. Not very exciting stuff for its strength. Make it lower in alcohol and I could drink a bunch of it, but otherwise I don’t see how this beer would fit into my life. jimhilt (1689), Bow, New Hampshire, USA

Almost clear amber color. Very good carbonation and medium bodied. Dry malty nose. Flavor is sweet but citric with spices. Smooth. $9.99 for a 750ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. Best by May 6, 2008. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
