Good triple ! Hazy blond golden color. Solid Triple; dry, spicy; strong bitterness, good malt structure, quite sweet after some oxydation, some cork.

Looks great. Has a bit of a funny aroma. Flavor is pretty good. A nice spice that doesn’t come off too strong at all.

This beer is surely underrated as of my writing this. It smacks (in a good way) of that I-know-it’s-from-Belgium quality and one might marvel of the elaborance with which it must have been created with such brotherly love by the goodly monks of the abbaye. Sláinte, as we Irish say!

This honey-gold beer has a nice white head. The nose is yeasty and bready with touches of citrusy hops and copper that intermittently shine through. The palate is rich and honeyed with more bready notes and rich semi-sweet malt, toasted grains and clover. The finish tickles the tongue, but is nonetheless soft and honeyed with more sweet malt.

11.2 oz. bottle- color of clear golden , with a thick pillow like white head - nose of yeast , cobwebs , orange peel , apricot , and stale – taste of light apricots , yeast , semi chalky , and somewhat sweet - body is medium , dry , and with high carbonation – aftertaste of dried apricots , candied , and cobwebs

Cork gets blown off and it takes forever to pour a white head that fades very slowly to a thin layer, leaving a good lace. Almost clear amber color. Very good carbonation and medium bodied. Dry malty nose. Flavor is sweet but citric with spices. Smooth. $9.99 for a 750ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. Best by May 6, 2008.
