Bottled. Clear amber. Neutral aroma. Sweet with clean mouithfeel, notes of yeast and a dryish finish. Incredibly neutral for a Belgian ale, what did they do with all flavours?

(Bottled) Very nice, quite clear, very reddish dark brown color with a small, tight and tanned head. Roasted-malty flavor with dried fruit, hops, berries, and hints of anise and toffee. A bit raw and metallic, if too cold. Sweetish and fruity, somewhat bitter flavor with plums, candy and cherries. Syrupy-sugary aftertaste. Medium-bodied, slicky palate with foamy carbonation. A bit thin for the ABV, yet doesn’t feel very alcoholic because of the sweetness. Good-looking and reasonably complex, but too sweet to be truly enjoyable.

(Bottle 75 cl) Reddish amber, presumably clear and filtered. Nice, beige head which collapses rather quickly. Fusty smell and lots of yeast. Slight vinous touch. Also yeasty flavours and some earthy notes. Roasted malt, some caramel and some candi sugar - not excessively sweet though. But the carbonation is a bit too much. A dark Tripel? That’s rather unusual. 160705

Dark ruby color with big tanned creamy head, lace. Roasted, woody aroma. Medium to full body. Sweet fruity (plums) flavor with roasted malts and molasses. Alcoholic touch in the liquerish palate. Currently underrated here (average 2.91)!

Bottle. Red-brown with large off-white head. Over-ripw fruit, plums, berries, light tartness, cork, madeira, complex! Medium body. Found this to be surprisingly good.

Coppery color, medium yellow head. Mild aroma: fruity, alcohol and sweet, some caramel too. Flavor has medium caramel, chocolate and sweetness, ends with mild alcohol. Overly sweet aftertaste.
