| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Quite an enjoyable beer and suprised to find it listed as an Abbey Tripel, because it screams Abbey Dubbel. Either way, it’s a tasty beverage.
The aroma is figs, plums, dust and a touch of sassafrass. Flavor is strong dark fruits, molasses, dark candi sugar with just a touch of dirty penny. Still confused at how this is listed as a Tripel though. lghansen (25), Denmark
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Dark brown with a pale tan head. This was an excellent Belgian dark ale. Just the right mix of sweet, malt, and alcohol flavors. It was very foamy, and bubbled out of the bottle after opening. A great alternative to champagne. AmEricanbrew (2005), Almost, Texas, USA

Good dubble here. sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA
