Surprisingly thin-bodied for a brune -- a "triple brune" mind you. Some chestnut, faint notes of herbs, the merest hint of yeast. I’d be hard pressed to laud this beer in any special way, but it’s actually drinkable enough in its own right. Drink & forget.

750 ml bottle from Holiday. Cloudy brown with a fluffy white head. Brown sugar, dark fruit, and Belgian yeast aroma and taste with an earthy slightly roasty finish. I’ve had better.

Clear brown with a thick light brown head. Aroma was a mix between sweet suger and cooked vegetables. Flavor was the same, no inspirering belgian yeast, just vegestables and young berries. Dont know how they managed to cover up the alchohol to well when the body is so thin.

From 750 ml. bottle shared by Vac - thanks! Pours a beautiful ruddy mahogany color witha large beigey head. Rich malts in the aroma, borown sugar, nice florals with dark fruit and spice. Yummy flavor, malty and spicy, clove, fig, molasses, nutmeg, citruc notes and bready yeasts. Full body, assertive yet creamy carbonation.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was marked 3/10/07 lot E 1026 and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a semi-opaque softly carbonated brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and brown malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Bottle courtesy thedm and hotstuff, numberted 144302: Pours light brown with small, wispy cream head. Dark caramel malt aroma with notes of raisins and dates. Very smooth mouth feel, perfectly carbonated. Dark malt based flavors consisting of caramel and belgian yeast.
