Jul 22, 2009 33 cL bottle at Delerium. Pours dark brown with a collapsing white head. Mild fruity yeasty aroma. Light mouldy and metallic flavoured. Vague yeasty fruity note to a distinct earthy base. Fruity and metallic flavoured finish. Slight off and disharmonious.

Jun 23, 2009 Huge yellow-brown head, collapsing over cola-coloured beer, leaving shards of lace. Rich, sweet & fruity nose with lots of bubblegum & fruit esters; dark malts. Sweet, liquorice & more bubblegum. Retronasal sweet walnut. Heavy palate, sweet-sticky, syrupy notes dominationg. Ideomatic dark strong Walloon-style beer with little distinction.

Dark brown color (with reddish shine), with an off-white head.
Aroma = sweet, roasted malts, bit yeast, fruits.
Medium body.
Taste sweet, roasted malts, little hops, and a some spice, a warm alcoholic touch. A very regular abbey beer.
