Flavor is malty with a large flowery presence, spices, generous yeast, soft fruit and herbs. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Ends with more yeast notes, bitter fruits and light spice.
MBison (346), Southern Highlands, Australia Jul 4, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured a hazy golden straw with large, fluffy, very dense, white head which lasted very well. Strong notes of grainy malts and spicy grassy hops in the aroma with some yeasty notes, lemon citrus, mandarin, lychee and some coriander. Flavor was of very creamy pear with some yeasty/grainy malts, orange citrus, lemon zest, coriander, light clove notes and hints of grassy hops. Pours clear golden with a giant, frothy, white head. Fine duration. Very fruity aroma, lots of lemons, oranges, some ginger and coriander. Nice. Fine carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly metallic, yeasty, fruity. Very nicely balanced. Fine, dry and hoppy finish. SHIG (1375), Oberoffligen, Germany Jun 11, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden color with an off white head. Aroma is fruity. The taste is soft fruits with rich malt and a slight bitter hops. Gold color with a sort of lacing white head. Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly fruity with minimal bitter. Enough to balance. It drinks incredibly well. Refreshing. Goes down a treat.
