DruncanVeasey (1720), No. 46, Leicestershire, Germany Jun 26, 2008 Lagery and lacy. Appealingly fruity Belgian snout initially suggesting apple, peach, orange…then the grassy/almondy Special Brew fumes kick in. Grass, rubber and marzipan in the mouth. FAR too much alcohol and little else to back it up at 6.3%. Nasty alcohol bitterness to finish, a lick of stale papery malt. Seriously unimpressive.
