Dec 10, 2008 Dark yellow colored with little yellow head. Sweet and fruity, peachy aroma with slight raisins and spices. Medium bodied. Flavor is smooth with palate, sweet with fruits and same raisinny BW note.

Mar 4, 2008 Bottle. Peach/apple malt aroma. Amber color with minimal head. Mildly fruity creamy malt flavor initially with an acidic grassy hops finish. Slight metallic aftertaste. Very nicely drinkable beer.

Jan 25, 2007 Bottled, 75cl champagne cork. Clear, golden beer with a white head. Banana, cloves, caramel and fruityness in the aroma. The flavor has some hints of cellar behind the banana, caramel, fruits and spices. Medium to full body and a wheaty finish. Like it. (061229)

Jan 3, 2005 I really enjoyed this beer, Because of the lower alcohol, the flavor came through more. Nice head, good flavor, nicely balanced to me. I will drink this beer again when in Creutzwald!

Oct 12, 2004 Mild malts with light skunky hops, metallic. Medium dull gold clear with thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts rather bland, light malt, no acidity, with papery stale hops. Finish is watery dull, light alcohol, though you’d never know it was 6.6%. After is clean with absolutely no taste. This is like the "American Standard" of Belgian ales.
