This beer is brewed with malt which is slightly roasted, this gives the beer a delicate taste of caramel. Abbaye de St Landelin is a strong beer appreciated for its roundness and its creamy flavour.

Beauitful clear amber color with great head. A very hoppy and bitter beer with some fruity notes. Spicy flavour dominated by yeast with notes of dried fruit.

An orange-amber beer with a lazing beige head - starts out enormous collapses and makes the lazing. The aroma is sweet with both a dusty note from the hops, but also some old fruit notes, I especially think peaches. The flavor is sweet with fruity notes comibined with berries, peaches and strawberries, which in turn is accompagnied by dusty notes of hops. The mouthfeel is very smooth, but the body is thin - especially considering the 6.5% ABV. OK, but nothing special.

Bottle, bought in Denmark. Quite fizzy beer (not much of a surprise as it came in a Champagne bottle!) Fruity, ut with a bitter/sour edge, reminds me of a refreshing cider. Some yeast, some alcohol shining through. Deceivingly easy-drinking, like some Beligans tend to be.

Bottled. Golden, with a white head. Fruity, lightly bitter nose, with some cellar-notes. Yeasty and bitter flavor with maltiness in the background. Lightly sweet, medium body. A nice, refreshing, sweet beer, but nothing special. Rating: 6-4-6-3-14-3.3. 060430

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a clear, copper-colored beer with a dense, creamy, beige head on top. Candy, fruits, caramel and some grains on the nose. Sweet and candyish flavor with some cellar. Grains as well. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. A decent one, quite well-suited for easter-time, but nothing special. 090828

Pours orangy yellow with good head. Aroma of malts and spices. Taste is alcoholic at first, ends on a firm sweetness from malts. Okay body.
