Commercial Description:
This beer is brewed with malt which is slightly roasted, this gives the beer a delicate taste of caramel. Abbaye de St Landelin is a strong beer appreciated for its roundness and its creamy flavour.

(Bottle) Pours bright yellow, with huge white head. Very "fruity" and fresh in the taste. Notes of sweet malts and caramel. Somewhat spicy. Good, but nothing special.

Sampled twice. First I was not at all impressed but this time I quite like it. Clearly Belgian: Yeasty, fruity, and malty (caramel). Clear amber colour with nice lacing. Fairly high carbonation.

White head on a yellow body. Slightly more bitter than I expected, but an invigorating brew for Spring, very well suited as an Easter Brew. Very nice experience.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty aroma, hints of glue or paint!!! Average finish. A little watery palate. Not a good belgian Ale.

Ambe colour with a thin light brownish head. Aroma of malts, caramel and fruits. The flavour is too sweet and the body too thin.

Beauitful clear amber color with great head. A very hoppy and bitter beer with some fruity notes. It’s somewhat sweet but it dosn’t taste of caramel.

Bottle. Looks pretty good - but from there it’s all down hill. Thin and factory like. Sharp and sterile.
