Commercial Description:
This beer is brewed with malt which is slightly roasted, this gives the beer a delicate taste of caramel. Abbaye de St Landelin is a strong beer appreciated for its roundness and its creamy flavour.

An orange-amber beer with a lazing beige head - starts out enormous collapses and makes the lazing. The aroma is sweet with both a dusty note from the hops, but also some old fruit notes, I especially think peaches. The flavor is sweet with fruity notes comibined with berries, peaches and strawberries, which in turn is accompagnied by dusty notes of hops. The mouthfeel is very smooth, but the body is thin - especially considering the 6.5% ABV. OK, but nothing special.

(Bottle 75 cl) Beautiful, clear, dark amber. No massive head but it sticks to the glass. Some caramel-notes and some underplayed aroma-hops. Some malt and a rather high carbonation. Technically this is a very well made beer, it just lacks personality. 010505

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing off-white head. Light metallic and malty aroma. Light pilsner like hops note. Flavour is dry and bitter, light metallic note. Classic pilsner flavour. Dry bitter finish. Somewhat mediocre.

Nice dark amber color and a good head. The aroma has notes of spice and citrus. The flavour is round, floral with notes of fruit and honey and towards the end there is hops and citrus and a lightly dry finish. A light, but nice Easter beer that brings news about spring...
