[Sampled in 2005.] A good beer for the lunchtable. Some hoppyness, otherwise soft and notes of sweetness and flowers.

Bottle from Intermarche, Nr. Boulogne, France. Gold with a white head. Yeasty aroma. The taste is sweet, yeasty and malty with a bit of spice and alcohol. Some bitterness. I know it’s one-dimensional etc., but I really enjoyed this.

Can, 50 cl, savoured on May 9 2007, best before 06-01-2008; eye: straw with a light caramel hue, clear, light effervescence, creamy white head that is quite voluminous, quite a lot of lacing; nose: yeast, lots of banana, fruity, spicy malt; mouth: in that order, caramelized malt, banana, a thick layer of caramel underneath everything that makes the beer filling, a bit of spices, finale in ripe banana followed by a big wave of sugar that covers everything, quite sweet, no bitterness per se, medium body, creamy and sticky texture, average carbonation; overall: too sweet FRANÇAIS Can, 50 cl, meilleure avant 06-01-2008, savourée le 9 mai 2007; œil : paille avec une légère teinte caramel, claire, légère effervescence, mousse blanche crémeuse assez abondante, pas mal de dentelle; nez : levure, pas mal de banane, fruitée, malt épicé; bouche : malt caramélisé, banane, une assez bonne couche de caramel qui rend le tout toquant, un peu d’épices, finale en banane mure puis une grosse vague de gros sucre vient couvrir le tout, assez sucrée, pas d’amertume pour dire, corps moyen, texture crémeuse et collante, carbonatation moyenne; en résumé : trop sucrée

Clear blonde body topped by a creamy and persistent medium white head. Honey and perfume on the nose. Medium body filled by malt sweetness with a few drops of vanilla. Amply hopped with aromatic floral hops providing no bitterness. The beer feels indeed very floral beer with flavours of rose water, perfume and flower petals. Very aromatic but not quite the right way. The carbonation is too soft. The vanilla, soft body and aromatic flavours come together in the finish to create a vanilla ice-cream after-taste !!! (the cheap grocery store kind). Bof. St-Bland-elin.

75 cL bottle. Pours golden with white head. Aroma is sweet malty with spice notes, traces of yeast. Has a soft mouthfeel, wellrounded sweet taste with a touch of hops and spices, bit of edge from the yeast. The yeast gives it the classical belgian ale feel.

Bottle. Strangely small white but lasting head. Hazy light yellow body. Pleasant sweet malt aroma with notes of lemon. Fruity and sugary flavor with a dry finish but little bitterness.
