Golden beer with a modest head but nice lacing. The aroma is spicy with notes of malt. The first notes in the flavour is sweetness and fresh hops, and then flower, fruit, lighter sweetness (heather honey), caramel and spice. The citrus is light, but Ok in the finish.

750ml bottle, yellow gold color, with a white head, but falling quickly, sweet corn and rice cereal nose, with a wheaty pale malt, and a yeasty fruity note, with a vanilla spiciness accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty fruity note, sweet cereals maltiness of pale and wheat malt, and clean rice, faint honeyish sweetness, with a mellow mouthfeel, spicy vanilla, leading towards a sweet pale malty and lingering hops bitterness.

Bottle. Golden colour with a nice average lasting white head. Aroma of malt, yeast with some sweetness. Flavour is malty, bit of wheat, good hoppiness, bit spices and nice caramel. Sweet finish.

(can) Slightly hazy, golden effervescent hue with yeast floaties and a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty and moderately sweety, light-fruity (lemon zest) aroma with spicy notes; also quite sharp and slightly artificial nose. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel. Soft malty, slightly fruity and spicy taste; sweetish malty and citrousy finish. Okay, but nothing more.

Can (purchased in Calais): Golden coloured, lively carbonation, small, lacing foamy layer; spicy (oranges, orange peel), a bit yeasty-dusty nose; mild sweet flavour; a faint bitterness in the sweetish-fruity finish. Not bad, but literally miles away from the belgian neighbours.........

Bottle. Oversweet malt, odd spice quality but a tasty hop finish on the piney side which unfortunately fades too quickly.
