Clear golden pour, with a soapy, lasting head - aroma of honey, spices, alcohol and flowers - the alcohol in the aroma becomes quite apparent as it warms - the flavor is quite sweet, coming across like a mixture of honey and cane sugar - it is very yeasty as well - I’m not really detecting any spices - just sweetness and yeast, followed by alcohol and light bitterness - it tastes like partially fermented, lightly hopped wort - in fact, if it weren’t for the alcohol presence in the finish, I’d forget that this was fermented at all - a light herbal character develops as it warms, making it start to taste like herbal tea with honey in it - a pretty lame beer - I’m beginning to wonder if I have the same beer as some of the other raters - there’s no mistaking that bottle, though.

750->snifter: Pours a spare head that is white and diminishing atop a clear, yellow body. Light hop and malt aroma is about the only thing my nose can pick up from this brew. The body is light and the finish is astringent. Flavor’s duration is short, all being lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter. Not a real memorable beer in my opinion.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 11.2 oz bottle. Medium golden, sparkling pour with a silky soft white head. Fresh, clean lemony aroma with hints of sweet cake mix. Refreshing flavor with some hints of yeast, cookie dough, citrus cake mix and a wee hint of maple syrup. Mouthfeel is just right with just a hint of carbonation. Very decent.

Here is another one that is overpriced at $9.95 and under-delivers. From the 750 swing top bottle, this poured a rich gold with big white head and lots of lacing. Nose of caramel malts and odd smelling floral or fruit hops. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet flavor and a dry finish.

From a 750ml bottle. A large light khaki tinted off white head tops a dark amber body. This leaves a very thick lacing on the side of the glass. The aroma is largely funky with some hay and hints of horse blanket. There is also some wood and apple notes. The taste is very sweet with caramel and apples. This finishes a little dry with some hints of cinnamon. A nice sipper.

750ml from Whole Foods Portland. Pours dark yellow with a bright white ring. Sweet and dry and yeasty nose. Taste is light and dry and ok, its kinda prickly. Can’t tell how I feel about this.

A little earth to the aroma. This is also quite nice. A bit of coating to it, dryness in the finish and sweet up front.
