Pours gold w/ a tall lasting head reducing to a thin silky sheet. Aromas of malted tropicals. Medium nectar w/ good carbonation. Rich and malty sweet w/ emphasis on banana, pineapple, and nectarine pulp. The finish lingers w/ mild acidic bittering. Some alcohol is revealed in the flavor. A bit brutish and harsh lacking finesse.

A good beer from the north of France. With the base of st landelin, they made a good job in this brew

750ml bottle - Pours clear, straw yellow with a little quickly disappearing white head. Nose is yeast, foralness, grass, slight funk. Taste is very similar, with light spices coming through, alcohol is well disguised and is actually quite light-bodied. Aftertaste is slight citrusy, fruity banana followed by a slight natural bitterness at the very end. Pleasant and expensive - might be better with some age.

750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a deep, clear honey-golden color; fluffy, very light tan head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Cereal, wet malts, and basic yeast in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: bland cereal, sticky wet malts, and sugar upfront; very singular, flat character in the mouth; light carbonation, low acidity and minimal balancing bitterness - just not a lot here, and hard to drink much of this. Boring, bland beer. Medium finish: breadiness, overripe fruits, and sugar.
