| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2009 750 ml bottle from Gomers North. Best before 05.28.09 stamped on label. This was on sale for $3.99 if I recall correctly. Pour is clear golden with a lot of carbonation and a billowing 3 inch off white head. Head is quite lasting. Some nice full lacing. Aroma of oft caramel sweet malt, floral spice earthiness and an extra dose of honey sweetness. All of it is quite soft and refined. Taste is the nose, predominantly the sweet malt, though the floral earthy spice yeast characteristics add a lot of flavor in the back. There is also an apple and pear fruitiness that adds complexity. As it warmed, some peanut shell presented itself. Palate is medium, smooth and slick. Well carbonated with a longish somewhat unclean finish. Nice enough, though I am admittedly still figuring BdG out. Highlight of this beer was the view of downtown Denver at night from the balcony of the Warwick. TET (246), Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2009 Golden beer with medium white head. Lot of grass, some sweetness and parfum-like flowerness are found in the aroma. Flavour is slightly sweet that turns more dry in the end, slightly spicy, yeasty and sophisticated parfym and flowers. Surprisingly very light but still slippery and nice to drink. La Divine is quite nice beer with pleasant nuancees, but still there should be something more in each sector. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Copper color with a medium head. Floral hop aroma (seemed like Strisselspalt) and grains. Fairly sweet caramel malt aroma. I’m thinking Munich malt as well. Floral. Easy and light, but flavorful. BeerandBlues2 (3235), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
