Corked and caged 75 cl bottle:
Pours pale golden, almost green-ish with a slight haze. The head is small. Spicy, yeasty alcohol aroma. Yeasty and spicy flavour with too much alcohol. This beer really wants to be Duvel but is not even close.

Bottle, 75cl - Clear pale golden yellow beer with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with hints of citrus, yeast, honey and light floral hops. Flavor is malty sweet with notes of citrus, acidic fruits and grass. Rather light bodied refreshing beer. Not too shabby, but very different.

750 ml corked bottle from Systembolaget. A firm two finger white head slowly fading to a thin layer of foam. Body is bright straw-yellow with a slight hazy shade. Citrus zesty aroma. Also a dry maltiness and some distinct notes of herbs, spice and earth. Predominant taste of herbs and spices. Dryish pale malts and some inviting light sweet fruits underneath. Mouthfeel has a light astringency, due to the generous amount of spices added. Not particular well-bodied for 7.5 percenter. Finishes on the dry side with lots of spices left. Not bad at all, a straightforward and well-spiced Triple in my book.

750 ml bottle. It poured a clear golden liquid with a small foam that left no lacing. The aroma was weak but spicey with some sourness and yeast and a hint of fruit. The flavor was fizzy with some earthy tones. Fresh and easy to drink.

Bottled. Crystal clear pale golden colour with fluffy head. Aroma from citrus and almond paste. Feels like a triple to me. Flavour and mouthfeel: Maybe a bit sweet, yet with alcohol notes, tad Belgian spicy yeast, without that much phenols, and then comes the pale malt, which feels pretty fresh. Not bad. On the edge of being a triple, but maybe a bit too sweet for that.

Ashy small head, quickly disappearing. Pale yellow, very fruity, unpleasent sweetness and a strong taste of alcohol. Couldn’t finish the bottle.

Dai alla fine non era pessima questa birra di Gayant, però più che una belgian strong ale la definirei una bière de garde un pochino sciacquata; dai ci poteva stare nel suo genere, sicuramente culcul

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Clear pale yellow with a dense white head leaving laces. Sweetish fruity nose with some yeast showing. Good full body, very fruity and sweet with touches of sulphur, yeast and alcohol in the finish. 010509
