04-DEC-2009, bottle, Ulkløbben @Michael. Golden, almost white head. A little sour nose. Oranges, very sweet. Some bitterness in the end, but cloying. Too sweet even for an X-mas brew.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (basement), with a light note of wet hay. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Plain, uninteresting, kind of sourish and syrupy.

Very nice dark amber colour with a solid meringue-like head. Not much on the nose, just malts and alcohol. Taste isn’t bad but not great - malts, grains, dry finish and some brown sugary-taste in there, along with some disgusting tinniness. Could be better.

Clear amber color with a thick offwhite head. Fine lacing. Aroma: fruit, yeast, alc. Taste: Spicy, sweet, yeast, hops. Has probably been standing in the light in the store a little to long, but still an ok beer.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Pinball. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge, creamy and of-white head. Aroma is dry malty, vague breadish. Roasted breadish and mild malty flavoured. Lingering sweet and mild fruity yeasty flavoured into a mild phenolic finish.
