On tap at Fynske Řldage, Odense, Denmark. Malty and sweet aroma. Clear, amber beer with an off-white head and low carbonation. Citric and sweet flavor. Miss the Christmas-feeling in this one, but it is not bad at all. (051029)

Bottled. 2003. Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma from cedar with some juniper-berries. Rather sweetish. A bit vinous flavour with sweet and dried fruits. Rather sweet; almost sugary.

Bottled, 2003. Amber colour. Cedar and juniper nose, also little sugary. Cork has left marks on both aroma and flavour. Pretty light mouthfeel. Dried fruits such as plum is most dominant.

Amber coloured, thin white head. Woody, cedar nose with some hints of juniper. Sweet, almondy, slight woody (cork) flavour. Some notes of plum & raisin is present. Quite short aftertaste. Christmas-like seems to be a popular description here, so......YES it´s very christmas-like.

75 cl Bottle. No yeast in bottom. Brown/amber in colour with a nice head. Very malty aroma, with some spicy notes. A malty and caramel taste, speciel for a christmas ale. A good frence beer, BUT not a great one in the big picture.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pretty, filtered amber with a fine yet discreet head.. Slightly sweet to begin with but well balanced off by the hops. Not very fullbodied in spite of the alcohol, but a quite harmonic beer. 100404

Red coloured with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with malts dried fruit and spices. Sweet flavour with lots of dried fruit and spices. Slightly bitter finish. Nice, though it’s very sweet.
