Amber beer with a tall head a lots of bubbles. Aroma of amber malt, earthiness, yeast, and nuts. Sweet flavor, a bit fruity, decent hops. Dry finish of hops, Amber malt, a bit of alcohol.
A bit too sweet, and not very complex. Not a bad beer, but not very special either. I am also not sure what makes this a Noel beer. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 26, 2008 The aroma is sweet with cardboard, yeast, and malt. The appearance is golden amber with a nice foamy head. The taste is like the aroma but too sweet. The mouth feel is thin. Overall this is not what I expected from a seasonal beer. It’s way too weak and watery and there is nothing special about it except it’s too sweet. TBone (6844), Pori, Finland

Clear amber color, medium-sized steady beige head, some lace. Sweet aroma with redberry, diacetyl and strawberry. Sweetish beer. Toffee, rye, berries, diacetyl and alcohol presence in the flavor. Medium-bodied with quite sticky mouthfeel. Kind of sweet biere de garde. Quite French, Jenlain Bière de Noël is close to this one. oh6gdx (9102), Vasa, Finland
