| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Aroma: Interesting, malty, nutty, hoppy, very nice! Refreshing in a mildly sourish way. Pretty german.
Flavour: milky, mild, sugary, not bad. Perhaps a bit TOO sweet. Hazelnut and orange nectar.
Appearance: clear, orange copper with pale head (frothy and bubbly)
Palate: watery and very slimy. Bizarre. Would probalby gross most people out – haha. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 30, 2007 (Bottle) Pours copper amber. Spicy aroma with tones of clove, soft white pepper, vanilla, hints of anise and cedar but also quite fruity with tones of apples, oranges, bananas and some more subtle candied fruit tones. Light caramelly and toasty malt. Undertones of yeast, honey and some floral notes are also present. Yeast, light spices and some fruit in the flavour with a medium to full malt sweetness of honey, sugar, candied fruits and soft caramel. Apples, oranges and, mild white pepper some clove in the flavour as well. Not sticky but too sweet mouthfeel. Medium bodied. This is not a typical Abbey Dubbel and it’s not even a good example of the style. ante (2965), Stockholm, Sweden
