The aroma is of cloves - very christmas like. The color is amber and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of fruits primarily oranges and mango together with notes of cloves and caramel. The end is rather dry. A very complex flavor.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pretty, filtered amber with a fine yet discreet head.. Slightly sweet to begin with but well balanced off by the hops. Not very fullbodied in spite of the alcohol, but a quite harmonic beer. 100404

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Pinball. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge, creamy and of-white head. Aroma is dry malty, vague breadish. Roasted breadish and mild malty flavoured. Lingering sweet and mild fruity yeasty flavoured into a mild phenolic finish.

Bottled. Hazy amber, minimal head. Sweet and fruty with toffee and boiled vegetables upfront. Medium bodied with rather mellow mouthfeel, some bananas. Low hop rate and bitterness. A bit bold and unrefined.

Bottle. Brown/amber in colour with a nice head. Very malty aroma, with some spicy notes. A malty and caramel taste, speciel for a christmas ale.

Bottle. Brown colour. Creamy, light brown head. Hint of spice in aroma and flavour. Quite sweet.

bottled (thanks omhper!) Amber colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, citrusfruits, some bitterish hops as well as spices. Flavour is fudge, some grassy hops as well as mild fruityness. Spices comes in the finish and aftertaste, along with strong fudge/caramel notes.

Red coloured with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with malts dried fruit and spices. Sweet flavour with lots of dried fruit and spices. Slightly bitter finish. Nice, though it’s very sweet.
