An great little beer. i’m always excited when i get to try a new biere de garde. This was very nice, slight sweet grainy, start, fading to a very nice savoury finish, quite malty, nice herbal flavour, and nice firm body, i enjoyed it a lot, another excellent find.

Bottle. Hazy orange with large off-white head. Nice fruity, malty and yeasty aroma. Taste is quite sweet, malty and fruity, with a nice bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, low carbonation, and a hint of warming alcohol. Good.

Blonde slightly sour and probably an aquired tasre. Some yeast was floating around which wasn’t very pretty. Not one I would drink every night but quite interesting in its own way.

Bottled: Light golden coloured. Clear. White head with medium lasting. Earthy and perfumed aroma. Notes of smoke. Flavour is light spicy and earthy. Notes of iron. The alcahol is not well hidden. Last long on the palate.

A dark yellow beer with a small head. The aroma is lovely sweet and malty with perfumated and spicy notes. The flavor is very light in the beginning but then it has a lot of palate. It is rather sweet and in the end lovely bitter. A good beer - but not fantastic.
