Pours cloudy medium orange (slightly dark for a "white") with lasting white head. Aroma of spice/coriander, sweet vanilla-orange. Flavors fruity orange, honey with very slight caramelization. Medium body (slightly heavy for style, though is called “double white”). Nice soft mouthfeel. An excellent boutique version of the style, though less quaffable and refreshing than others. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark yellow with a small milky-creamy head. Aroma has loads of fruits, grapefruit, oranges, banana, lemons and a load of wheat as well. Very full mouthfeel with a champagne feel to it. Flavour is extremely nice. Oranges abound again, some coriander and a general dryness pervading through. Really a good example of the style! shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

4/27/2007: Pours a golden color. It is pretty clear (not hazy, cloudy, or murky), but there are some floating chunks in it. It has a huge rocky white head. The aroma is wheat malt and has some subtle sweetness to it. The flavor is light citrus, delicately spicy, and has a hint of alcohol. The body is medium-light. The beer is light and slightly efferevescent on the palate. This is a pretty good Witbier overall, but nothing out of the ordinary...
