Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 12, 2003 The aroma is faint, but sweet and fruity with notes of alcohol. It is an unclear yellow beer with an OK but fast disappearing head. The flavor is prickling sweet in the beginning, then a little thin, and ending on a strange bitterness. It also contains strange notes of oranges, yeast, and a flatness. Its an OK beer - but not super. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2002 Sampled draught at Stockholm Beer Festival.
Pale yellow. Coriander and curacao aroma. Light bodied, sweet and very drinkable. Very interesting experiment to brew a non-wheat beer with witbier spices. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 21, 2005 Updated: Jun 10, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Orange-blond beer with a lot of sediments and no head to speak of. High carbonation. Very aromatic and quite dry - almost like a "Tripel" although there’s less alcohol here. Quite perfumed and "herbal", but it changes character when the sediments is in the glass. Special. 030304 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 9, 2004 Sampled in celebration of my summitting the 3900m Ala-Kol pass. Hazy dull tan colour. Sweaty, bready aroma with lemon, lime and bubblegum. Palate is slightly watery, quite yeasty with lemon, banana, perfume. Straightforward Belgian session ale - perhaps a bit too yeasty for my tastes. joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 26, 2006 Bottle.
Hazy yellow coloured with a huge white head.
Aroma of fruits, spices, yeast and ascorbic acid.
Flavour of fruits, spices and yeast with notes of ascorbic acid.
