Hazy....blond color, nice sticky lacing & creamy head. Nose of citrusy yeast, candi sugar, smooth fruity alcohol with apricots & grapefruit. Sweet flavor with tons of apricot notes & floral hops. Finishes very smooth. Alcohol hidden very well. What a tasty treat!

Muddy beige with chunks. Dull yeasty aroma shows light spice, light fruit. Lightish body with a faint alcohol signature. Light spice and yeast notes. Has a slight acidity to keep things lively into the finish.

Apparently chunks are becoming a problem with this beer, as we also had that was unagitated and yet riddled with unsightly particles. In spite of the nice fluffy head this was really off-putting to the eyes. Also, the aroma seems like it has some solvents in it. However, the aroma is also dry, strong, and fruity and the flavors, ditto. Initial sweetness leads to a clean dry finish. Maybe it should be sold with a strainer.

Bottle, 33cl. When opening the bottle, lots of big chunks were driven to the neck of the bottle due to heavy carbonation. It didn’t gush out of the bottle, only a fingerthick cap of foam formed at the top, slowly getting more and more brown and a bit disgusting-looking. No chunks at the bottom of the bottle, all ended up in the top. Weird. When poured into the glass, all the chunks divided into smaller ones, but still quite large ones, and made the otherwise nice-looking brilliant orange-golden beer look un-inviting. The head was dense, off-white and quite small. Fruity-sweet aroma with some caramel, candi sugar, yeast-notes, pears and a touch of spicyness. I hoped the chunks would slowly settle at the bottom half of the glass, but the lively carbonation kept stirring them up. Effervescent, sweet, slightly warm and full-bodied in the mouth, with flavors of candi-sugar, dried fruits, some alcohol, caramel-notes, some spicyness and a generic fruityness. A little bitterness too. Fruity-sweet and slighlty bitter finish. By the way, I carried the bottle extremely carefully from my cellar, and opened it as gentle as I could, but to no effort. It would have been a much nice beer without the chunks. I ended up running most of it through a fine meshed strainer, but that only resultet in smaller chunks. Pouring it gently through a coffee-filter even didn’t remove the chunks, but they got much smaller, so I ended up pouring it down the sink. Will sure try it again later if I have the opportunity. Pours deep amber into a tulip. Bright white head recedes to skim surface. Fruity malt aromas. Green apples upfront, crisp with a sweet pit fruit and malt finish.
