Pour dark cloudy brown with tons of suspension and sediment. Large tan head that last a while. Good dark sugar, belgian yeast aroma. Great flavor of dark sugar fruit, and belgian yeast. Incredibly smooth for a 10%. You can’t even tell. Very enjoyable. Flavorful, smooth finish. kiefdog (1602), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head that leaves little lacing on the glass. Aroma: ripe dark fruit, sour citrus, grass, straw, apple, complex spice. Flavor is sweet and sour with tang and hints of coffee, vanilla and banana. Very different tripel but not unpleasant. Complex Belgian ale. markwise (1179), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA

It smells strongly of whiskey and apple. Pours a dark brown with notes of medicine, caramel, sugar, and finishes with brown sugar flavor. No lace, but lots of carbonation. Interesting beer. Pours a dark brown nectar body with a thin tan head. Aroma and flavor is loaded with spices, clove, sweet malt, caramel malt, etoh, toffee. Wow this is incredible! dmac (1449), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2008 750 ml bottle given to me by rebelbeerguy for Christmas. WOW this is the chunkiest, most yeastful floating having beer I have ever seen. Seriuosly if beer has to be labeled with pulp or extra pulp added this one should have a warning reading solid floating chunks in every sip. Poured a thick floatie filled brown with a large light beige head. Aroma is phenomenal, tons of sweetness, lots of fruitiness and yeast rounded out with caramel and toffee malts, exquisite. Full mouthfeel and you don’t even notice the chunks of sediment as you swallow this bad boy, finishes rather refreshing and light for how chunk filled it is. Flavor is sweet with lots of dark fruit, toffee, brown sugar, and tons of yeast. This is some really nice stuff, time to get more. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Aroma was rich of cinnamon sugar and soem clove with a touch of spice. Sweet brown sugar upfront with complex fruitiness. Finishes nice and smooth with flavours bursting out. Rich and smooth. rickgordon (3297), Göteborg, Sweden

Ruby amber colour with big head. Cabbage, dark plum, prune and yeast in aroma. Very soft mouthfeel from the rich yeast chunks, with plum and prune most prominent, yet very sweet and potent, and traces of wood. The alcohol is very well hidden. Yet another solid ale from a great brewery!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2008 The commercial description is right on when it talks about the enormous scale of flavors. The dark fruit sweetness is the main player but their is some yeast and bitterness. The flavors are just to strong for me but it is still a pretty good drink. A very slow sipper
