Bottle At Beer Bistro. Slightly hazy with a darker golden pour under a big foamy tan head. Caramels, raisins, roasted nuts, and some faint floral notes very typical Abbaye style tastes. Lively carbonation and molasses flavors compliment the aroma, and there is a hint of flemish sourness. Alcohol is well hidden in this amazingly complex beer.

Sweet and savory. Lots of sweet fruit in the aroma and flavor, with some spice. Almost too sweet, not quite. i like this beer

750ml Fleeting beige head over cloudy, red/brown liquid with some decent lace. Hops, apple cider and yeast on nose. Roasted grain and wood on palate. great balance and depth here. Didn’t notice the 10% at all.

Brown color, large tan head. Massive sweet malt aroma, yeast, strong alcohol. Some cherry, plum taste. Alcohol not noticable. A luxurious feel.

750 ml bottle via trade with AxlLives When opening the bottle, I got some slow volcano action. Pours a hazy deep amber color with a huge off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is light yeast and esters. Quite nice. Flavor is much of the same with some caramel notes. Medium body. However, what I think makes this a top notch beer is its smoothness. This is the easiest drinking Belgium ale I’ve had to date. Thanks Bryan.

330 ml pours a brownish purple with a smooth tan head. Belgian candi sugars, yeast, bread, and cherries come out of the nose. The flavors were enjoyable plums, brown sugar, belgian candi sugar, bakers chocolate, cherries, and more red fruit underneath. An enjoyable brew.
