| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2007 Thanks Todd for sharing this bottled version. The beer pours to a hazy orange body with a creamy white head. The aroma is heavy with Saaz hops, corn silage, and it really piques my interest. The flavor is Saaz hops and silage with some strawberries. Very unique and quite nice. The palate is sweet and moderately full bodied and leaves a nice lingering spiciness. The bottle was listed as being from Abbey Beverage Co. from Pecos, NM. KAggie97 (2452), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Pours ice tea brown with an aroma of malty wheat bread. Flavor is Chex cereal and grain. Average mouthfeel. Not bad, but not especially good. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Aw....
Abbey Beverage Company, Pecos, NM
Hazy, rosy orange-ish color, tangerine and peach...small head.
Sweet nose, plenty of fruit, and a hit of spice. Lively yeast. Apricot and orange, and a little straw.
In the mouth, it’s ...it’s.. ah, ...eh...oh.
Bleh, to be succinct.
Thin bodied, small in flavor, lacking a lot. Drinkable, inoffensive, but lacking in charm, to say the least. Passable, at best, with hardly anything Monk-ish or abbey-like at all. Hardly even interesting as a pale ale.
Can’t really hate it. Can’t like it, either. Sorry. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Clear amber body with a uniform sudsy white head. Aroma of warm yeasty esters, including cooked banana notes, plus cinnamon spice and cookie malts. Flavor is medium sweet with toasty malt qualities, a light hop profile, and fruity yeast signatures. Definitely has some potential as a respectable session beer.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2007 Thanks to Terminus for picking this up for me. Pours clear copper with a sudsy tan head. The aroma has toffee, caramel, bread and some Belgium yeast. Medium body that’s sturdy with some semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor is a bit oxidized along with the flavors from the aroma ~ the flavors are a bit more thin that the aroma suggested. The finish has a bit of grapes and other light fruits. An okay Belgium ale. mar (1842), Dallas, Texas, USA
