Commercial Description:
This is an Imperial or Double I.P.A. Using double the amounts of malts and hops to create a very intense flavored ale. Using five different types of malts and six different types of hops created an ale with soft bitterness, tons of hop flavor and aroma balanced with malt sweetness. Cheers hops lovers!!

On tap at the brewpub. Gummy, juicy, and sticky. Fragrant. Copper. Sticky, a bit sweet, but lots of bitterness. Tangy. Good hop cone character. A little sweet, but otherwise rounded and solid. This had really awesome hop flavor, but the sugars kind of overwhelm somehow and I can’t dig that.

On tap at Valley Inn. Body is a medium/dark amber with a creamy head. Wonderful hops aromas of citrus and pine are a highlight. Flavor is a little thin on malt but very good with a nice grapefruit finish with a piney edge.

On tap, at brewpub. Pours a hazy copper with a small off-white foamy head. Lots of green citric and piney hops in the nose with a little caramel maltiness after it warmed up some. Rather harshly bitter up front, but as it warmed it did get a little smoother. Very leafy and raw. Toasted and light caramel malt on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a sticky resiny hop finish. Moderate soft carbonation. Overall, a little on the harsher side with the hoppiness, this could benefit from a better more subtle mix of hops.

Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Big hops aroma - citrus and flowers. Apperance was dark amber and a tad bit hazy. Really good IIPA. Loved their regular IPA at last year’s fest.

On draft at brewery and then again at ABC 11th Capital City Brew fest. Poured a cloudy orangeish gold in color with a nice medium sized head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, and light caramel. Tastes of piney, grapefruit and citrus hops balanced well against caramel malt. Nice mouth feel and body.

Sampled at Pints for Pets. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small foamy white head and a little bit of lacing. The aroma is a strong citrus grapefruit hops flavor. A little caramel in there to balance it out as well. The flavor is simply outstanding. Lot so juicy grapefruit. A little light on the body, but it is a really tasty IPA.

Draft sample at Pints for Pets. Pours orange golden with off-white head. Big citrus, floral nose. Big old bitter, balanced well, floral and citrus hop flavor. Great IIPA. Need more if it.

Growler. pours hazy amber, with a small off white head. Aroma is all hops; primarily piney, but with some citric character. Big hop flavor up front, well balanced with caramel malt. Long, resinous hop finish. Above average double IPA.
