Cask at peterborough beer fest 2009. Alround rating: Pale sweet malt, noteably strong with the alcohol not trying to hide much. Fairly average.

Cask, first Hinckley Beer Festival. 8% Tripel mellow tropical fruit aroma with fibrous pineapple and mango. Unfiltered mist like Belgium. Sweet, but packed with hop juiciness. Superb silky tropical fruit character. Clean with no alcohol- just undiluted hop pleasure. Beer Of The Festival.

[cask at North Wiltshire Beer Festival] Citrus flavours are rather blotted out by the sweet, syrup-y aftertaste. Not a well balanced beer, and I was disappointed after other reviews on here. Still OK though.

Cask at the King William IV, Sneinton, Nottingham. A hazy golden beer with a lingering sweetness from the malt and more of those citrus hop flavours I love, Absolution has a pleasing creamy body. It’s yet another English blond beer of which I’m really rather fond.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Linolnshire Poacher Nottingham. A pale gold beer with a white head. A lemony citrus aroma. As this was served with a tight sparkler there was a creamy feel to the beer which got in the way of the obvious lemon hop flavours. I’ve had this gravity served in the past and it was tons better than this forgettable experience.

Gravity Cask @ Guide Dog Beer Festival. Pale slightly yeasty. A little malt. Not much hop flavour. Smoothly bitter. Not in best condition which reading the other reviews confirms. Av rating given

Cask. Hazy light golden, lasting white cover. Very aromatic ale with plenty of zesty, limey tones. Intensely hoppy. A bit cheesy in the backing yeastiness. Really pointy, sharp hops are the turning point of the drinker’s focus and they biscuity malts offer nothing more than a platform for them to shine on. Addictive.
