(Cask at Dispensary, Liverpool, 20 July 2009) Golden yellow colour with firm, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of garpefruit, lemon peel and freshly cut grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with fresh grass, lemon, grapefruit and a slightly soapy, citrussy finish. Light body, but with a good hop character. Tasty and refreshing.

Cask at The Waters Green Tavern, Macclesfield. Very pale yellow gold with thin white head. Very hoppy, little citrus and a dry bitter finish. My mate who loves a hoppy beer was raving about it, it was just quite tasty in my eyes.

Very pale golden yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. A light biscuity malt nose, matched by a citrusy hop aroma. A dry taste, but a weak mouthfeel. Malty flavours, slightly sweet and biscuity, then a zesty citrus fruit hop flavour towards the end. A zesty and dry finish. Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).

A Mes rate: Cask at The Swan in Liverpool. Very pale colour with a very thin white film. Thankfully that’s the only real let down. Very drinkable with perfumey hoppage aplenty. Straight down the line but pretty good.
