From cask at Market Porter. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty with a crisp hoppy note. Vague initial soapy hops note. Citrusy and vague peachy. Bitter, dry and peachy finish.

Cask at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 08-10-08 Pours mid amber with a slight haze and a white head, it looks decent enough. Some soapy hops in the mouth, very soft feeling, restrained but ever present bitterness and yes I suppose there is a simple bread like quality to this beer, its ok. Bitter and fruity and once again I get the bread like quality to this beer, its good stuff marked up on re-rate. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Thick foam covers the clear amber coloured ale. Surprisingly yeasty brew with banana esters mingling with the toasty and bready malts. Kinda nutty, mostly malty with pie crust leanings. Tartish citrusy hop kiss in the finish. Not bad, but Abbeydale has got quite a few better ones.

Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Brown. Wholemeal bread crusts and malty flavours in the light body with sufficient hop in the finish to provide balancing bitterness and additional earthy flavours. Nice.
